Better Late Than Never
Over the years, my family has become notorious for arriving late to dinners, holidays, and other events. I assure you, it is never our intent to do so. You know the saying, “The best laid plans...”

When organizing a trip anywhere with Livy, we have to remember her food, tubing to feed her, medications, diapers, extra clothes, etc. We’ve been down the street and had to go back home to grab something we forgot. If we ever go for an overnight trip, it looks like we are packing for a week. It takes about 30 minutes to get Livy up, out of bed, and out the door. We don’t like to risk waking her because that is her most susceptible time to have seizures. We have often been tardy as a result.

We constantly try to be more efficient and to get out the door earlier but much of it is out of our control. As I said yesterday, we just go with the flow. Better late than never.
