About Lemonade for Livy

Lemonade for Livy is a campaign that spreads epilepsy awareness and raises funds to support programs, services, and research at the Epilepsy Foundation.

13-year-old Olivia Scheinman (Livy), of Clearwater, FL, is the inspiration and symbol behind Lemonade for Livy, a movement created by her family’s organization, Livy’s Hope. Since birth, Livy has been plagued by the damaging effects of epilepsy. She has endured multiple major brain surgeries but the seizures persist.

What started as one neighborhood lemonade stand to raise money in honor of Livy is expanding into a global initiative. It continues to grow because of Livy's twin sister Hailey and the special bond the girls share, a mother's love, and a father's promise made long ago.

Thank you for your interest in attending the Lemon Games. We are looking forward to seeing you there and to making a stand against epilepsy, together!

Do I have to buy a ticket to attend the Lemon Games event?
No. Only those competing in the challenge activities need to purchase a ticket.

Do I have to choose to compete only as an individual or on a team?
No. By default, everyone competes as an individual. The contestant with the highest overall average wins the age group. If you decide to form a team, each contestant's overall individual score will be averaged together for a team average score. The highest average team score wins.

Do I have to complete the challenges with my team?
No. Teams do not have to complete the challenges together although it may be more fun to encourage your team members as you go. As long as you are assigned to a team and you start the challenges before 2:00PM, your score will be counted toward your team's score. Keep in mind that if a team only has 5 members and one either does not attend or starts the challeges after 2:00PM, the team will be disqualified from the team scoring.

Is there a minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Kids of all ages are welcome to attend but only kids 6+ can register to compete in the challenge activities.

What types of challenges can I expect?
Challenges will consist of a variety of indoor sports skills activities. Some will focus on accuracy and others will be timed to see how long a contestant can perform the challenge.

What should I wear?
Contestants should wear appropriate athletic attire including sneakers.

Where does the money go?
All proceeds fund programs, services, and research at the Epilepsy Foundation.
