Welcome to the Livy's Hope Blog!

I Have a Confession To Make

I had to take a moment out of this exciting, crazy momentum and just stop and confess.

At the beginning of this "Lemonade for Livy" campaign, I was the skeptic. Jon had mentioned in a previous blog that I had lost some of the positive beliefs that I once had. These past nine years have been tough on me and my soul. I was always the optimist and could always find the good in every situation. I wish I could say that I still felt that positive flow of energy every day, but that part of me has been hidden for some time.

Hidden...not gone.

This campaign has completely opened my eyes to not only the incredible ability that it IS POSSIBLE to span this country and find wonderful supporters in all corners but it has also introduced me to some amazing people and families. The stories I have heard and the strength that comes from them is incredible. What I have also witnessed is a fantastic group of "movement makers". These are the friends, family and strangers who are making this campaign a success. They are endlessly sharing our posts, our story, our videos and our efforts. I hope you all know who you are and that YOU are opening my soul and filling it with HOPE.

We have THREE DAYS to turn THREE STATES purple. Please continue to spread this amazing endeavor of ours and help to make it a success. I owe this to Livy...my little miracle.

WYOMING, NORTH DAKOTA and NEW MEXICO...ARE YOU IN??

Allison,

I have a confession, too. I would like to have been much more involved than I have been. I follow your posts faithfully and have bought shirts and bracelets, but I'd like to do more...one of these days...hopefully.

Hugs to you, Jon, and the girls,
